இசையமைப்பளார் இளையராஜா கொடுத்த புகாரின்பேரில் சென்னையில் சி.டி., கடைகளில் போலீசார் திடீர் ரெய்டு நடத்தினார்கள். பிரபல இசையமைப்பாளர் இளையராஜா, எக்கோ ரிக்கார்டிங் நிறுவனம் மீது சமீபத்தில் பரபரப்பு புகார் அளித்தார். இதையடுத்து சென்னை போலீஸ் கமிஷனரை சந்தித்து புகார் மனு ஒன்றையும் கொடுத்திருந்தார். தான் இசையமைத்த சினிமா பாடல்களின் ஒலி நாடாக்கள் மற்றும் குறுந்தகடுகள் வெளியிட்டது தொடர்பாக தனக்கு கொடுக்க வேண்டிய ராயல்டி தொகையை எக்கோ ரிக்கார்டிங் நிறுவனம் கொடுக்கவில்லை என்றும் புகாரில் தெரிவித்திருந்தார். இதையடுத்து புகாரை வழக்காக பதிவு செய்த போலீசார், சென்னை ஆழ்வார்பேட்டையில் உள்ள ஏவி.எம். மியூசிக் சோன், சரஸ்வதி ஸ்டோர் ஆகிய கடைகளில் ‌திடீர் சோதனை நடத்தினார்கள். அங்கு அனுமதி பெறாமல் இருந்த 179 சினிமா பாடல் சி.டி.,க்களை பறிமுதல் செய்திருப்பதாக கூறிய குற்றப்பிரிவு போலீசார், கோபாலபுரத்தில் உள்ள எக்கோ ரிக்கார்டிங் நிறுவனத்திலும் சோதனை நடத்தவிருப்பதாக கூறியுள்ளனர்.

நடிகர் ஷாம் - கஷீஸ் தம்பதியருக்கு பெங்களூருவில் 2வது பெண் குழந்தை பிறந்துள்ளது. 12பி படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழ் சினிமாவில் அறிமுகமானவர் நடிகர் ஷாம். தொடர்ந்து ஏய் நீ ரொம்ப அழகா இருக்கே, இயற்கை, உள்ளம் கேட்குமே உள்ளிட்ட தமிழ் படங்களிலும், கிக் உள்ளிட்ட தெலுங்கு படங்களிலும் நடித்துள்ளார். தற்போது தில்லாலங்கடி படத்தின் ‌ஜெயம் ரவியுடன் நடித்து வரும் ஷாமின் மனைவி கஷீஸ் கர்ப்பமாக இருந்தார். இந்நிலையில் அவருக்கு நேற்று பெங்களூருவில் அழகான பெண் குழந்தை பிறந்தது. ஷாம் - கஷீஸ் தம்பதியருக்கு ஏற்கனவே ஸமைரா என்ற பெண் குழந்தை உள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. பிரசவத்துக்கு பின்னர் தாயும், சேயும் நலமாக இருப்பதாக நடிகர் ஷாம் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ரம்பா கழுத்தில் தாலி கட்டினார் இந்திரன்

நடிகை ரம்பா - தொழிலதிபர் இந்திரன் திருமணம் திருப்பதியில் கோலாகலமாக நடந்தது. உள்ளத்தை அள்ளித்தா படம் மூலம் தமிழ் திரையுலகில் நுழைந்த நடிகை ரம்பாவுக்கும், கனடா நாட்டை சேர்ந்த தொழிலதிபர் இந்திரனுக்கும் ஏற்கனவே திருமணம் நிச்சயிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. தனக்கு திருமணம் கைகூடினால் திருப்பதியில் வைத்து திருமணத்தை நடத்துவதாக ரம்பா, ஏழுமலையானிடம் வேண்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தாராம். அதன்படி ரம்பா - இந்திரன் திருமணம் திருப்பதியில் நடந்‌தது. ரம்பா காலை 11 மணியளவில் பல லட்சம் ரூபாய் மதிப்புள்ள தங்கநிற பட்டுப்புடவை கட்டியபடி மணமேடைக்கு வந்தார். மணமகன் பட்டு வேஷ்டி - சட்டை அணிந்து மணமேடையில் இருந்தார். அப்போது நடிகை ரம்பாவின் கையை அவரது தந்தை வெங்கடேஸ்வரராவ் பிடித்து, மணமகன் இந்திரகுமாரிடம் ஒப்படைத்தார். ரம்பாவின் தாய் உஷாராணி அருகில் இருந்தார். அதைத்தொடர்ந்து ரம்பா, மணமகனுக்கு பாதபூஜை செய்து, காலை தொட்டு கும்பிட்டார். மதியம் 12.30 மணியளவில் ரம்பா கழுத்தில் இந்திரன் தாலி கட்டினார். அப்போது திருமணத்திற்கு வந்திருந்த அனைவரும் அட்சதை தூவி வாழ்த்தினர்.

அரசியலுக்கு வர என்னை நானே தயார் படுத்தி வருகிறேன். மக்கள் விரும்பும்போது அரசியல் களத்தில் குதிப்பேன் என்று நடிகர் விஜய் பரபரப்பு பேட்டியளித்துள்ளார். தற்போது நடிகர் விஜய் மலையாளத்தில் வெளியான பாடிகார்ட் படத்தின் தமிழ் ரீ-மேக்கில் நடித்து வருகிறார். காவல்காரன் என பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்டுள்ள அப்படத்தின் சூட்டிங் விறுவிறுப்பாக நடந்து வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில் விஜய் அதிரடி பேட்டியளித்துள்ளார். அவர் கூறியதாவது:-

'உண்மையான உணர்வுள்ள நூறு இளைஞர்கள் என்னுடன் வாருங்கள். இந்தியாவையே மாற்றிக்காட்டுகிறேன்' என்று சுவாமி விவேகானந்தர் கூறினார். அந்த பேச்சின் வலிமை, தன்னம்பிக்கை எனக்கு பிடித்த விஷயம். அதே பாணியில்தான் உண்மையான உணர்வுள்ள, சமூக அக்கறை கொண்ட துடிப்பான இளைஞர்களை என் மக்கள் இயக்கத்துக்கு எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன். பொதுவாக நான் எந்த பணியில் ஈடுபட்டாலும் நூறு சதவீதம் முழுமையாக ஈடுபடுவேன். எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் காலமும், சூழலும் முக்கியம் என கருதுபவன் நான். அரசியல் என்பது ஆரவாரமான அலைகள் வீசும் பெருங்கடல். அதில் நீந்தி கரை சேர வேண்டும் என்றால் பெரும் சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டும். அதற்கு என்னை நான் தயார்படுத்தி வருகிறேன். அதற்கான அரசியல் பாடம் பயின்று என் இயக்கத்தினரையும் தயார் படுத்தி வருகிறேன். எப்போதும் அஸ்திவாரம் பலமாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அதை பலப்படுத்துவதில்தான் என் முழு கவனமும் உள்ளது.

விஜய் அரசியலுக்கு வந்தால், நன்றாக இருக்கும் என்று மக்கள் விரும்பும்போது, கண்டிப்பாக களத்தில் இறங்கி களப்பணி ஆற்றுவேன். நான் ஒரு முடிவெடுத்தால், அந்த முடிவை நான் நினைச்சாக்கூட மாத்திக்க மாட்டேன். இது, சினிமா வசனம் மட்டுமல்ல. நிஜமும் அப்படித்தான். மக்களுக்கு பிரச்சினை என்றால் குரல் கொடுப்பதுடன், மக்களுக்காக முன்னின்று போராடவும் தயங்கமாட்டேன் என்று முன்பே கூறியிருக்கிறேன். அதில் எந்தவித மாற்றமும் இல்லை. என்னை உயரத்தில் உட்காரவைத்து அழகு பார்த்த அருமை மக்களுக்காக, போராட எப்போதும் நான் தயார்நிலையில் இருக்கிறேன். என்னை ஒரு சகோதரனாக, மாணவ சமுதாயத்தினர் ஒரு சக மாணவனாக, பெரியோர்-தாய்மார்கள் தங்கள் வீட்டு பிள்ளையாக, குடும்பத்தில் ஒருவனாக என்னை நேசிக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு பிரச்சினை என்றால், அவர்களுக்காக நேரடியாக களத்தில் இறங்கி போராடுவேன். என் உயிரினும் மேலான தமிழ் மக்களையும், என்னை நம்பி என் வழியை பின்பற்றும் என் ரசிகர்களையும் கைவிட மாட்டேன்.

Telugu actor Prabhas to act in Tamil film

Samudrakani who is currently acting in an untitled film directed by Sasikumar will be directing two films. While speaking about this, he said,” I had directed the Telugu film Sambo Siva Sambo which is the remake of the Tamil film Nadodigal. I will be directing a film produced by Sasikumar. He will also do the lead role in that film.

The shooting of this film will commence during the month of July. I will act in a film if it has a character. In the beginning of next year, I will be directing a film in Tamil and Telugu. I will be introducing the Telugu hero Prabhas in Tamil film. I am writing a screenplay and dialogues based on the novel ‘Sivam’ written by Indira Soundarajan.

GOD AND SEX: RGV’S FILM ON NITHYANANDA

Director Ram Gopal Varma is adept in converting real life incidents to movies. The director has drawn inspiration from several such incidents in the past. He was in the eye of the storm several months ago, during the Mumbai attack incident, when he visited the Taj Hotel along with the then Maharashtra Chief Minister and his actor son to get first hand information on the terrorist attack to convert it into a movie.

The director has now decided to make a film based on Nithyananda. He has said that on seeing the video clippings on television, he has drawn inspiration to make a film. The movie would be titled as God and Sex, sources say.

TAMANNAH CONDEMNS FANS

Fans and movie buffs in Tamil Nadu have been doing Paal Abhishegam to the cut-outs of their favorite film stars since a very long time. Many top heroes, including Rajinikanth’s cut-outs, did not escape this practice during their film’s release. The latest to join this bandwagon is Tamannah. The fans in Tuticorin inaugurated the All India Thanga Padhumai Tamannah Fans’ Club and performed the Paal Abhishegam on 50-feet Tamannah cut-out during the release of Paiyaa. This was brought to the notice of the actress, who condemned such action.

Tamannah said that she is not aware of the fans club and will not support such actions. The actress maintained that only Gods should be worshipped in this manner and this practice must be denounced.

RAMBHA CLARIFIES ON HER WEDDING

Rambha is preparing to tie the knot with Canada-based businessman Indra Kumar at a traditional wedding ceremony that is due to take place in Tirupati on April 8th, 2010. The reception will be held at the Rani Meyyammai Hall in Chennai at a later date. The entire film fraternity is expected to attend the reception though the wedding is for close family and friends.

Speaking about her marriage, Rambha says that it is an arranged marriage. She clarified that she was signed up as a brand ambassador for Indra Kumar’s company but eventually he asked for her hand in marriage through a formal request to the elders in the family. Rambha says that she will continue to act even after her marriage.

ARYA COMPLAINS…

Telugu film Varudu, in which Arya plays the villain, was released a few days ago. When the reporters asked Arya on why he decided to play the baddie when he is a well-accepted hero in Kollywood, he replied that being an actor he should not look for specific roles and end up being stereotypical.

Soon after the release of Varudu, which has Allu Arjun and Banu Mehra in the lead roles, Arya filed a complaint at the Nadigar Sangam that his salary was not settled by producer Dhanayya even after repeated requests. This complaint was taken up by the Nadigar Sangam and its president Sarathkumar held discussions with the producer to resolve the issue. Following the Sangam’s intervention, Arya’s dues were settled.

VIJAY SURA RELEASE DATE

Sura, Vijay’s 50th film, is expected to be released on April 23rd. The date release has not been announced officially as yet because the team is waiting to have it censored before announcing the date.

Sura has garnered enough attention because it happens to be Ilayathalapthi’s 50th film. And one more reason is that the distribution rights have been acquired by Sun Pictures, which means enough publicity and surefire success at the box office. Sura is directed SP Rajkumar, who has left no stone unturned to make it an out-and-out commercial entertainer to satisfy Vijay’s fans.

The movie has Tamannah pairing up with Vijay. Vadivelu is in charge of the comedy. The music tracks, which were released recently, have already turned out to be a great success.

RAJINI AND KAMAL TO LAY FOUNDATION STONE

The 65 acres of land allocated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi has been named as Kalaignar Thiraiyur. The laying of foundation stone to build houses for workers belonging to the film industry will be on April 23rd. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the housing quarters, actor Kamal Haasan will lay the foundation stone for the hospital and Rajinikanth will lay the foundation stone for the film studio. Apart from the hospital and film studio, a recording theatre, editing facility, dubbing theatre and much more would be built for the benefit of the film industry workers.

The entire film industry opines that the Kalaignar Thiraiyur will be on par with the facilities that are available in Hollywood and would be known as the Los Angeles of India.

RUSH TO RELEASE AHEAD OF VIJAY’S SURA

Sundar C-starrers Vaada and Guru Sishyan are to be released on April 16th. While Vaada is directed by A Venkatesh, Shakthi Chidambaram has wielded the megaphone for Guru SIshyan. Guru Sishyan also stars Sathyaraj and has Hemamalini as the heroine. Dheena has scored music for this film and it is produced by Radha Shakthi Chidambaram.

Interestingly, A Venkatesh’s another venture, Maanja Velu, will also hit the screens on the same day. Arun Vijay plays the lead role in film.

There seems to be rush to release the films on April 16th, as we hear Vijay’s Sura will hit the marquee the week next.

SURYAH BACK WITH THE WINNING COMBINATION

SJ Suryah is back this time with the Telugu movie Puli. The film has Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Suryah has given several hit films in the past including Vaali, New and Kushi. He had also ventured into acting after trying his hand in direction and has proved his mettle in that department too.

Suryah decided to don the director’s robe and cast Pavan Kalyan in Puli. This is not the first time the duo is working together as they have given a hit in the past - Kushi. The movie is expected to be released on May 14th. The re-recording work is presently on, we hear.
